Only 26 here, so I think that puts me just under the average age here. I guess we'll see.

This should be interesting...any chance of making this a sticky for awhile so we can get alot of people to check this out and vote...?

At 28 or 30 votes, some values are at 1.03% That means one third of a person voted that section. Strange way of calculating percents.

Actually that is .03% voting. The 1 in that figure is how many votes were given total in that section.

Actually, that's just the most common age group. The average age, assuming the people in each group average out to the center of the range and using 60 for the geezer, is right on 30.

It’s a sense of humor thing.

You would have gotten the same results if the poll had been.

2. Duck
3. Other

Except you may have gotten more #2s.

Just saw this thread http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif. Thought I should add my 2 cents at soon to be 25. I don;t know why you guys are suprised at female bing here, honestly I'm surprised there aren't more.
I've known lots of women who play video games. Maybe someone should put up a woman bashing thread..that'd lure them out to complain http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif...I'm joking of course please don't send me any hate http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/mad.gif mail!

That's cool. I would think many girls/women would not be up front about that on a public forum just so that they won't have to deal with the immaturity found in so many places. Personally I wouldn't blame a female for not mentioning it or even pretending to be a guy just to fit into a pretty much male-dominated arena.

I think you'll find this place a fun, mature (most of the time) and extremely helpful place to visit. Not just for the game, people on this forum have asked for and got pretty good advice on everything under the sun including some very troubling personal problems.

Ah, but they do. I started playing SE3 at the ripe old age of 14. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Or was it late in 13? I forget. I know of a couple people playing SE4 that are 14 or just barely 15. They definitely started playing it a year or two before turning 15.
