For a school project I had to create a new Wikipedia article. Seeing as everything interesting under the sun was already covered, I decided to make one on Adamant Mod. What do you think?

Well, I hope your project is due soon; the main Wikipedia has a tendancy to delete articles that are deemed not significant enough.

pffft. If Counter Strike and a host of other Half Life mods are significant enough, Adamant is.
Besides, I just have to turn in the code I used to create the article. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
What did you think of the article?

Actually: I'm not sure the version history needs to be on there, though it might be standard for Wiki articles on software.
You -really- don't need the Play By Web link, unless you want to add something on how good/bad the AI is and suggest human players instead.
Other than that it seems fine.

Informative and somewhat interesting. However, it's kinda dry.

It seemed too short without it. Some other mod entries I looked at had tidbits of version histories, so I figured I might as well put it in.

Well the intro does have this: "Adamant focuses primarily on multiplayer gameplay, with only adequate AI support for single player gaming." I figured a way to play it in multiplayer would be useful info. Should I make it more explicit?

Thanks.
To Narf:
Well, dry is fine at this point.

'fied' - Generally added at the end of a word to turn it into a verb.

You do know that you can edit it so much that it hardly resembles what it once was? That's the brilliance of the wikipedia, anyone can edit it.

Very good. Couple of typos I think though:
The rampant affects of combat bonuses have been reduced.
Should be 'effects', not 'affects'.
The first play by email (using the Play by Web (http://seiv.pbw.cc/) server) were started in September 2003 using version 0.13 of the mod.
Should have the word 'games' inserted after the last close bracket.
Other than that, very informative. I just might download it now to see how it plays.
