Hiya All =)
Not sure if this is the right fourm or not, but I was wondering how I could make a Base mod that would allow a base to resuply ships? and what in the freak'n world is this Neo standard I keep reading about! I can't find any root information about it!?!?!?!?

Look in Settings.txt way down at the bottom for the line "Bases Can Join Fleets" and change it to true. This will allow each base to share its endless supplies with one fleet each turn. You will have to add the base to the fleet to be resupplied, and the fleet will have to stay there for a full turn for the supplies to get shared.

The Neo Standard (http://www.dogscoff.co.uk/neostand.htm) is a standard list of extra pictures for shipsets. These extra pictures are not used in the stock game, but some mods call for them for some extra vehicle sizes they have, and the standardization means shipsets with a special image for a particular mod's Doom Star size will use that same image for another mod's Worldship, for example.

A better idea might be to make a *ship* which is not allowed to have engines on it, and gets built in supply storage and/or solar supply generation.

As douglas said, SEIV directory->Data->settings.txt. Change the line that says "Bases Can Join Fleets := False" to "Bases Can Join Fleets := True"

Neo standard is a standardized modding system that adds tons of extra ship and unit pictures to a shipset. It allows mods to use different and more sizes of ships within the game. I think it adds up to about 20 extra ship and unit pictures to a shipset, though sometimes less. It all depends on what the creator of the shipset wants.
