In a simaltaneous game if you have a ship which is cloaked, or using stealth armor, and you do not disengage the cloak or armor but give the order to attack (seek after target) when the ship catches up to the ship it is attacking will it attack even if the other ship can not see it because of lack of sensors?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you're cloaked, and the enemy can't see you, an "attack" order becomes a "secretly follow" order.

As it is written in the orders list when viewing with the eyeball; "seek after".

Too bad cloaked ships can't attack regular ships a la Star Trek style. Heh, just think of the look on the colonist's face when their quarters are opened to space mysteriously! Mwhahahaha. >=)

Try turning on the Cloaking Minister and trying the same thing... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I hope SE V will allow more complex/detailed orders for simultaneous games like:

Follow ship XY, when you reach it decloak and attack the enemy, then cloak again.

Or as proposed, that cloaked ship can attack (even with a combat bonus).
