I found this today while "working" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

It's rather simple, but Kinda fun if your bored. Took me about 20 minutes to learn, 10 minutes of reading the tutorial. It's no SEIV but at least I can play at work. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Hmmm.... call me old and set in my ways... but I just can't spend the time to figure out something that primitive. It reminds me though of an old game called "Spaceward, Ho!" which was fun for a time before I found SEIV.

Did anyone else play that one?

I own it. Never could get far. Always lost. Didn't play much, though.

Got it on a K-Mart pack of six old Sci-Fi games...Including Star Control 1&2.

I got it from my brother (who also got me into this accurséd mess) about 6 or 7 years ago. I actually won once, and was so proud of myself that I emailed all my friends a "victory memo" saying that I had conquered one galaxy and was moving on to the next. I was subsequently much ridiculed.

Anyway, that was difficult and the next two times I gave it a whirl I lost.

That was the end of that.
