Sample campaign of "multiple choice support assets"
In the first map you should chouse one of the 2 victory locations to obtain the desired support element.
In the second map you will experience the size of the core force and you may also experience the aux support AirCav spt and Airlift.

Once you deploy start to run for the right side of the map because a large force of NVA is coming behind you... Also be ready to receive the welcoming of the Hvy NVA mortars.

Be careful because some NVA units are already waiting for you!

This is not a scenario, but a first taste for the various campaign mechanism.

cheers,

p.s should we cut the core force by 30%?

Not sure If I can rename campaigns. I`m getting a "do you wish to oeverwrite message" when I try to unzip them in my campaign folder.

Any chance of recreating them to a much higher slot? thanks

Mmmmmhh maybe you can backup your present campaign in the 24th slot so you will not lose it...

I just looked at the forces, maybe we can cut three groups of patrols... they seems a lot....

I also fear that the player will be tired from all these units...
Maybe if we reduced everything by 30%?

***Core Forces reduced by 30%***
1. 2x AirCAv Platoon(M)
2. 4x Patrol
3. 4x Mg section
4. 2x Snipers
5. 2x Pioneer (bunker-busting unit)
6. 2x Forward Obs (one for each platoon)

Maybe this size of core force is more manageable...
I don't know...

My only concern is whether or not the player will become tired (after several battles) if we use the bigger (+30%) core force...

I played the two maps and when i finished the campaign the game exited with a fatal error! Anyway I think that for sure too many units are present since the beginning... maybe minus 30% would be better!

Davide,

What do you mean fatal error? (anyway the campaign was meant not to be played to the end...;) )
Maybe it was the victory level settings??

It was only 7 turns so I played it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

With fatal error I mean fatal error! After the last turn I was able to see the outcome of the battle... then it asked me to save and then the game quitted with a fatal error! It kicked me to windows. Surely because it saw the game was too fantastic! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
