How would you best define the personality groups in the game?
Friendly, Hostile, Neutral, Really Friendly, Extremely Hostile, Semi Friendly, Semi Hostile, etc

Personality Group 1
Personality Group 2
Personality Group 3
Personality Group 4

AT, you need to define what your looking for?
How would you best define the personality groups in the game?
Do you mean players or the Races they play?

(1) Really Friendly (2) Friendly (3) Semi Friendly (4) Neutral (5) Semi Hostile (6) Hostile (7) Extremely Hostile

Personality Group 1 (Most Common) - #1 thru 7
Personality Group 2 (Common) - "
Personality Group 3 (Least Common)- "
Personality Group 4 (Rare) - "

Give an example of how you'd like this done. Like above?

Take a gander at Settings.txt.

AT, look at the stock races and make a list of each race by personality group. Then, you can get your answer.

I don't think there is anyone that could really tell you without looking in all of the AI files themselves. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Make sure to report back with your findings.

Oh I will. I discovered something interesting. One if you set the personality types to 25 each in the settings file, you end up with fewer aggressive - waring - AI players.

Also if you set Must have Crew Quarters to 0 on a transport hull in the vehicle size file, the ship will have only 2 movements, and only 1 combat movement even if it has more than four engines. Odd huh?

Lack of any C&C ability on the ship will cause loss of movement. You can add the ability to the hull to avoid the penalty. The requirement only affects whether you can create the design or not; it is never relevant for determining movement penalties.
