Yeah, it's nice to zoom in from space (or from someone else's house on another continent) and see where exactly the person is in their country.

Also, if you have the BBS markers switched on you can learn all about nearby places of interest. There are some beach-cams set up near my house, if you go in via google Earth.

Bearclaw - you ever notice that your town is shaped a lot like a map of the US and Central America? (View from about 14miles up) Why isn't Canada on there?

Yes, but it has been rerouted or altered course or some such since the town of Riverside was first established. It was not much of a river.

Yeah, it does look like north america. If you streatch your imagination a bit, north of the Nechacko River (that's the smaller one that runs west/east) 'could' be viewed as Canada.

I leave the BBS markers on all the time. All sorts of cool stuff shows up. Like all the live web-cams all over the place. Including 3 at Ground Zero in NY.
