I'm at work right now so you can't see any icons for SE4. Just in case the boss comes around.... and I've got 2 monitors.

Mine is very boring... not the background, just the general lack of icons http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Ahhh...soothing. At least it beats the semi-NSFW wallpaper I usually have. The icons are grouped according to function, except for the SE4 save game folder, that's in the corner, so I can drag-n-drop files from the unzipper. Between the skull and the rune, there should be the Diablo II executeable, but I uninstalled it ... for a little while.

Icons are for suckers.

My desktop is on a broken HD.

Nice desk top shots guys. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif CK you still playing SC4? Its a good game with the Rush Hour expansion. Just wish the maps sizes were a bit bigger and the mapping tools were as good as they were in SC3.

I'm amazed that nobody has a shortcut or a quicklaunch to a calculator of any kind. Maybe it's just me but at least daily I do a calculation of some kind or another for some reason, frequently during SEIV games too. Normally not worth busting out the old HP, it but sure beats start/programs/accessories/calculator every time...

I do. It's in my taskbar, right next to the launch button for Battle for Westnoth.

I keep one on mine, just haven't tried to post my screen. I use it alot in SE IV. So much that I keep a second calculator next to my computer In case I need to do several things at once. Supper useful when dealing with QNP mods to squeeze that last movement point from colony ships without running out of supplies.

My keyboard has a calculator shortcut button right on it. I use that all the time. Before that, I use to have a shortcut on my desktop.

I have one of the programmable keys on my keyboard set to a calculator, so there is never any need to go to the desktop to open it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

There are some nice desktops here.

Here is mine. It is still going through some modifications. Along with the menus on top, I have pop-out menus on each side of my screen to access even more programs. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Whew! I thought I might be the only calculator geek on this forum. That's a relief.

Well, my keyboard also has a calc key, a mail key, a My Computer key, browser keys (back, forward, stop, refresh, home) and a fully outfitted media player control pad (complete with volume control, mute button, and a button to boot up the player). Unfortunately, they'll only work under XP and I'm stuck with 98 SE. Well, only for a few more weeks at most now, so..... I don't think I'll be using the calc key much, though.

On this computer (the Apple), I just do F12 and use the calculator in Dashboard. For the windows computers, I just do Win+R, calc, return.

The Apple desktop right now is kinda boring... not much there... unless you do what I did for the second one...

Me too. And I renamed it `Calculator. So when I need to calculate, it's press [Ctrl]+[Esc], then [`] just below it, and calculator pops up.
