Hi All

Is there a way to save a pbem player turn part way through. It currently takes me 1-2 hours to play my SE4 turn in a pbem game. Right now I have to do it all in one sitting. Is there a way to give some orders then come back later and finish moving and setting build cues to finish the turn.

In a simultaneous game there is not a way to save in the middle. In a turn based pbem there is.

This has been mentioned before and I think it should be addressed again, as I tended to play my turns on at least 3 different machines depending on where I am at. I would like to be able to do some of a turn , save it, move it to a new machine, and finish it.

Holy crap! That is one large empire you have there! At most my turns take 5 minutes. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

I don't know if this is the case (in fact I believe that's a bug). But some games, doesn't allow to save the turns in middle (for example Emperors of Fadding Suns).
The problem is that some players (the word cheater come to me), like to save the game do their moves, and if the result is bad for them (for example if their ships found a minefield), then, reload the game.
IF the save option is disabled, still you can do the cheat, but you need to play everything again...

Saving in the middle of a PBEM game, yes please!

Saving the game will not allow any cheating, as no movement occurs until the host rolls over the turn. Then all movement occurs at one time.
