Just wondering, with the rise of PBW, do PBEM games get organized anymore in the general SEIV community??

Probably some, but why raise cows when the milk is free?

PBW games are still PBEM games, just without the hassle of turn collection and distribution...

I mean, is there a backup to PBW to organize PBEM games when PBW is down?

We haven't had an extended down time (over a day or two) for over a year or so, but the last time we did several game owners kept their games running PBEM in the mean time.

I know there are some people that still play PBEM, but they are typically small, regular groups. They don't do much advertising for new players.
