from Othaglot & Cane Chapter 18
When the Worthwhile Endeavour poured through the warp point, I realised that there are far more effective ways of intimidation through design. It shone under its own light, illuminated so as to properly display the intricate flags and insignia that adorned every gleaming surface. Arrays of obvious weaponry left no question as to this craft’s purpose and potential, but their orderly configuration implied a kind of cold, rational efficiency. A more aggressive arrangement would have been too much, as though this species had something to prove. Instead, the measure of restraint indicated a self-assuredness that flirted with arrogance. This was a king among spacecraft, designed to imply at once benign autocracy and the threat of unchallengeable force.

God, that is one ugly ship. Bad textures, bad lighting, horribly misplaced guns, and that flat blue on the bridge.

Whoever rendered that ship should be taken to an open field and shot.

Wait...
