Has anyone designed an editor to modify the composition of systems in a save game file?

The map editor is in beta right now. You can do a lot with it.

Can you give us any information about the map editor?

Will you be able to rename systems?

I think I would like to be able to create systems with a desired name and then be able to place a race there. (i.e The draconians in the system draco)

The Map Editor will be included in the next patch. I'm hoping Malfador releases it any day now.

If you search down a ways for the Last thread created by 'Richard', you'll see a list of all the Map Editor features included in the patch revision list. It sounds really, really cool!

In another thread Richard told us to expect the patch next week sometime.
