Hey hey,
Anyone know of a good, reliable freeware registry cleaning program suitable for a win2K machine? Trying to figure out why my boss' PC takes about a week to boot up or load RTCW.

I think there are free (or at least "trial") versions of SystemMechanic around somewhere. I use it. It works well on my XP laptop.

I've had good results with RegCleaner. Totally free, not intrusive as far as I can see, and not crippled. They're at www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm (http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm)

How can I tell if my registry needs to be cleaned?
