My new mod is finally done. Well, it's as done as I can make it considering how long i've worked on it. It's a huge overhaul graphically, has new races & ships, new music and lots of neato stuff. Enjoy!

Wow - great work!

It must have taken a long time to create all those new ship graphics.

Wydraz,

W-O-W!!! Your mod is amazing, plain and simple! It's like playing an expansion pack created by the original devs. You have some big-time talent. I hope the folks at Digital Eel get a look at this. And give you a few bucks to boot.

Hands down, this is the most impressive mod I've played here.

Awesome mod. Great job. I love the nostalgic sound of "Launch Fighters" from Star Control. One of my favorite games ever on the 3DO and PC. The Krill ships kinda remind me of some from Babylon 5. Was there some inspiration there? You ever notice the exact same Earthling ship in Star Control is the same Earthling ship in the opening of each episode of Babylon 5? Maybe not every season but at least one of them. Maybe at least the 1st season? Anyway, it's there. There was something else to. Another reference I remember seeing in the game. Can't remember what it was off-hand. Oh well.
Back on topic:
Killer mod, renewed my zest in Weird Worlds. Plz continue to build upon it w/more new quests, etc.

This Mod is currently my favorite! The mood is excellent, you really get a different feel. This is new universe, with new colors, technologies, ships, races, backgrounds. The Krill are truly frightening.

I only have one possible bug I have to report: When I met Ripcord O'Reilly, I ended up with a Moon Marauder in my fleet instead.

that's not a bug, it's an upgrade for Ripcord.

Any chance we'll be seeing an update of your mod, Wydraz, that makes use of the 1.21 patch? I really like your mod ( I already liked it on SAIS) so how about adding in some more stuff ;-).

Hurgg.. been quite a while. Sadly, there are no plans to update this mod for 1.2. There is nothing in the patch that changes mod capabilities.
