I just noticed in one of my games, that the randomly-generated Cue-cappa put a QR on a spacestation design.

Has this happened to anybody else?
Does MM know?

You know you might be right about that whole "they might know something"... afterall it has been mentioned that a lot of players don't want bases to have endless supplies... they would have to generate/store supplies just like ships.... maybe MM is listening, and in the next patch... So they are just making sure their bases will work in V1.4!

That would be the best! If bases got limited supplies, but an inherent supply storage of 50k, it would work pretty good.

Actually that would be a nice trade off... supply storage ability could be added directly to the hullsize (i.e., 5000/20000/50000 for the 3 diffrent bases).

Other things I want to see:
1) Ships aren't built with supplies! They have to be fueled in the first turn.

2) Supplies can be moved from ship to ship like cargo can be moved. No more merging fleets and waisting turns (it dosen't take a month to fill up fuel tanks!)

I've seen the QR on bases and some sats in the AI design creation files for awhile now, maybe v1.27 when I first started to mod them. Personally I took that line out since it doesn't really do them any good, might as well free up the tonnage for something else.

Quantum Reactor on a base, including some supply storage, plus armor/weaps/shields, and you have perfect ressuply post. Group it with your fleet, and it will ressuply them.
Heh heh. Best use I can see for a q. reactor.

I think your missing the point.... Bases already have ENDLESS supplies, thus adding a QR is pointless (same thing with supply storage)
