Hi guys,

I'm a WW freak like everyone else here. I'm also a professional sound designer (www.nucleus-soundlab.com) and aspiring composer.

I am interested in providing some music to a promising WW mod out there. So, in that interest, here are some examples of my work - the 'spaceier' stuff that could fit this type of game genre.

So if you want to ad some custom music flair to your mod - contact me at jeremy(at)nucleus-soundlab.com. Look forward to hearing from you!

Cool!
Nice tunes.
I posted something - ages ago it seems - asking pretty much the same thing.

Got an offer to do some tunes for someone's game project (which I'm doing), but nothing for any mods. Shame really, I can't do graphics, and I can barely code, but I like writing music and/or sound effects. Also got ideas for Mods that I cannot create ;-(

Good luck this time round though ;-)

I'd be thrilled for a bit of music in my mods. I can't offer you anything more substantial than written credit in my readme's... but if you're just looking for a way to flex your musical muscles and "get your work out there"...

(The offer is open to both of you, Ace_Garp and JeremyNSL)

Musical requests

For Sgqwonkian Crisis:

1a) a sqwonkian theme

1b) a slower and sadder version of the same for the sgqwonk homeworld

1c) secondary urluquai theme with lots of gongs and cymbals

1d) a tanru/urluquai blended theme

For Teeming With Life:

2a) music for the snake god (I'm thinking reminiscent of that godsmack voodoo/snakebite song in the same way that the WW black monolith is reminiscent of the 2001 theme)

2b) goofy techno-western for the lummox ranch

2c) sound effects or short clips for any of the new life-forms

For some other mods I'm toying with:

3a) Something that sounds like a jingle for a chain of used spaceship parts emporiums

4a) Ancient Greeks in space. Several variations on this concept would be nice, actually, since I'm likely to put together an entire mod based on Homer's Odyssey.

and:

2d) music or sound effect for when something is eaten

2e) baby lummox

5a) dark and dramatic theme for cthulhu in space

2f) better bee sounds. I've got a lot of bees in the mod, and I'm currently using the brood sound.
It's okay, but kind of weak and passive compared to what you imagine a hive full of piranha bees to sound like.
It'd be nice to have a different more aggressive bee sound, and maybe some hybrid of a bee and gun for the muktian beekeepers ships.

I'd definitely love to have a go at some music/sound-fx for your mods!
Got a couple of gigs at the end of the month, but then I should have a bit of time free.
I've sent you a private message with my email so we can talk business!

The idea of a Mod based on Homer's Odyssey is a 'very' cool idea indeed!

And a Cthulhu Mod! You'll make me almost cry with joy if that happens.
I love Lovecraft (and his large entourage of others such as Derleth, Lumley et al.)

I'll start having a good play with your Mods, and get some music together soon to try to encourage you to make more of them ;-)

Ace_Garp,

Since I had to upload a new version of the Sgqwonk mod for Fingers to help me debug, I went ahead and put in the sgqwonk theme you sent me. Got you and your band name in the credits.

Thanks again!
