Anyone bought this game? Iīm thinking about getting it but am afraid of the system requirements...
My main computer (acquired recently) is an 2.6mhz celeron with 512mb ram and a 256mb Geforce videocard, and i donīt know if it is enough to play CoH reasonably...
Anyone can tell me of the mileage of CoH in similar systems?
Thanks

Well, i cant speak for your system, but i bought a new pc 2 weeks ago, E6600, GT7900, 2 GB of Ram. Im playing CoH at 1280 * 1024 and it looks gorgeous. The animations and graphics are so detailed, its hardly believe. Love it.
You however...using a Celeron and barely any RAM at all...i doubt you will be able to enjoy it, unless you like 800*640...

It's funny how 512 now qualifies as "barely any RAM at all."
I still remember the days of "Holy $#it.. a 1.2 GIGAbyte harddrive??!!!" and "Yeah, my processor is only supposed to be 64mhz, but I've got it screamin' along at 67!! Woo hoo!"

First computer was a vic 20. My dad modded it with about 24kb of extra ram and a reset button.

The system requirements are spot on...you will want a robust system, especially when a lot of units, and action is going on...I'm not a big fan of RTS, but this is one of the best around...

Unfortunally though, the demo is 3 GB big...lol.

No pain no gain...
I do think it was on some disks that came with PC Gamer, and/or Computer Gaming World...so you could always just go to the Local Magazine retailer...

640kb of RAM should be enough for anybody.

The player reviews I've seen say it starts out good but gets insanely difficult quite quickly. It comes with the GOTY edition of Dawn of War for free (in the UK anyway). Which is nice.
