SEV: How do you add ship classes?

How do you add ship classes? I'd like to seperate my attack ships by missile boats and gunships.

Um, I don't see a way to do that in the game. Guess we could edit DesignTypes.txt?

Yeah, I guess that would work too. Looks like this needs to be added to SEV.
