View Full Version : SE V Ships being magically refueled in enemy space

I've noticed that when my ships are in enemy space they don't run out of fuel. Every turn they have full fuel, and I have no auto supply generating technology built into the ships, that I know of.... such as Solar Collectors from SE IV.

When I'm in my own space, my ships have typical supply issues.

Do you have a treaty that allows re-supply?

No treaties, as they aren't responding to messages. =)

Yes these ships are in fleets.

Fleets are a little weird right now as far as supply useage goes.

The bug as I see it, involves the whole fleet counting towards the supply count.

IE: 110 supplies on ship A + 110 supplies on ship B + 220 supplies in the fleet = 440 supplies.
Divide the 440 supplies among the two ships, giving each 220, and the fleet now has 440.

Next turn, it redoubles. Repeat until storage capacity is exceeded.
Aaron does know about this one.

One of my favorite features of Lords of the Realm (never played the sequels...) was that armies would forrage. It cost a FORTUNE in food to keep standing armies, but if you just had that army stand on your enemies (or allies...) side of the border, it would cost THEM that same fortune in food.

Clearly, your fleets are forraging off enemy supply lines and interdicting their trade. This is a sweet feature.

I think this bug works in reverse on the supply usage side for fleets as well, draining them of supplies at a rate that is proportional to the number of ships in the fleet.

oooooooooo lords of the realm!!!!

I so beat lotr2 and the siege pack expansion.

Amazing game - the voice commentary was simply addictive.

I have Lords of the Realm 1. It was fun, havn't played it since. Think it was the steep learning curve.
