Do you know whether the ability armor regeneration can still be used this way:
Armor Regeneration = The amount of structure points regenerated per combat turn.
1] I add on every "regeneration-able" component a very small Armor Regeneration (1 or maybe 0.001 ?) which will not regenerate during fight because too slow.
2] And then I add one component with very low structure, which have a very big Armor Regeneration.
Would the Armor Regeneration be global and touching every component having the ability (like I remember in SEIV) or will each component only use its own regeneration ability until repaired ?

Is Emissive armor working in latest patch ?

I think Organic Armor is actually using Armor regeneration, and should then not be working...

Organic Armor, Crystalline Armor, and Emissive armor are not working.
I didn't answer your question because it is not certain yet. The ability used is actually "Component - Regeneration" which I suspect means that any item with the ability can be healed as it was in SE:IV. But I'm not sure since there is no way to test it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I sure hope it will be, so we can still have "heart" or such organic component boosting the overall regeneration.
same for emissive, hope we can have a small expensive component hidden in the Inner Hull generating the emissive shield subtracting for every incoming damage.
Hopefully it will be corrected in a few patches...
