View Full Version : Potential SEV Saved Race Bug

I created and saved a new empire last night in SEV. When I create a new game and add this race then go into edit all of the starting technologies are at level zero and I have something like 475,0000 tech points that I have to use to recreate the starting tech levels.

When I created the race in the first place I did make one small adjust to techs before saving, I took projectile weapons down one level to 0 and took point defense up one level to 1

By the way that appears somewhat broken also as I still get to build with level 1 DUC even though I took the tech down to 0.

Version 1.00 still has the bug where you can give back starting tech levels for "extra" points. It has since been fixed.

If you edit the data files I find that your saved empire files will have all the techs at level 0. It's a known item.

CK, do you know if it is fixed in V1.05?

The patch expected ~16th should be 1.07 - so the exploit of giving back starting tech levels was fixed. For the second issue, it will probably have to wait to another patch.
