I noticed in a post Last week that alot of us do not finish our games. Speaking for my self I find that late in the game I have the power to do it but get lazy and just start another game as I want to try differant ways to win. Now with Dev's mod I have had to fight hard as he made the AI build ships as good as I, as a somewhat human does. I want that victory symbol but I hate to have them surrender as it takes too much micro caring for the loser AI.
Any hints on a sweeping victory with a couple of super fleets that can run through the systems and planets?

Personally, I'm finding that fighters are the way to go for a sweeping victory right now. It's due to a bug in se4 unfortunately =( If you're not using fighters, I'm seeing a pretty clear balance =) Hard to make uber-fleets that can't be countered. Except for fighters, that is.

Although, Anti-Fighter Missiles will certainly ruin a fighter's day. Even so, they still do wayyyyyy too much damage. Ah well. Version 1.4 will address some of these balance issues, I'm hoping. And make the AI tougher =)
