View Full Version : Why isn't my mod working?

I'm trying a really simple mod to lower the path cost for Titans. It shows up in my preferences and I have it selected, but the Titan still has it's original path cost.
Here's what my mod looks like:
#modname "Magic Titans"
#description "Easier Magic Use for Titans"
#version 1
#domversion 3.00
#selectmonster 597
#pathcost 40
#end

Though I just noticed that a Fire Elemental with a pathcost of 40 is now showing up. Am I using the wrong monsters.txt file as a reference tool, perhaps?

This time I went in and did shift-i to discover that the Titan is actually #602 and the Father of Serpents is #603, as opposed to 599 and 600. Problem solved!

press Shift+i, or 'I', when viewing Titan's description. That should show the unit's number, and the number of all weapons/armor the unit uses.
