View Full Version : Two sprites needed

Hello

I would be happy if someone could make two following sprites for me:

A raptor with a studded leather armor and a crossbow.

A raptor with a plate cuirass and a crossbow.

I suppose you could use one of the RoR sprites as a basis. This is for my little "Raptor Light Crossbowman & Marksman commander" project.

I'd really apreciate this. Thanks in advance.

I took crossbowman added wings but I think its too big.

Yep, if the wings were folded like the caelians in Dominions have it would be mighty fine. Perhaps you could try taking wings from them? It's very nice but the wings take too much space

Caelians wings are tiny. I'll see what I can do to make it small enough yet still somewhat realistic.

The shadow looks magenta colored though.

I just changed background to show you how it looks in the game. Its not an actual screenshot. I'll start working on the leather version then.

I was wondering if you or someone else could extract the Iron Crow/Raven Guard sprites from the game? I'd like to expand my Raptor mod to include Crow Generals and Raven Commanders who replace the Storm General.

Well... If #copysprites isn't enough, I quess I could try to extract the first forms. It shouldn't be hard.

Making those was easy. I just took my existing sprites and added wings. If you will want anything original Gandalf I cant promise I'll be able to do it. I couldnt finish siege sprites, that someone asked for, for example.

I thought that you couldn't use #copysprites on original units?

The problem of #copysprites is that it will result in identical looking units, which is a bit problematic.

You can't change the graphics. Sometimes, the same sprites can be used. However, it seems this isn't the case. I might upload something later if I feel like doing it. It probably wouldn't take more than 5 minutes but meh.
