I still don't have Dom3 (bloody Tuxgames http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/mad.gif), and I'm wondering how hard it is to make a Dom2 mod work in Dom3? I have one almost finished Dom2 nation mod (undead Marignon, kind of) I don't think I'll ever finish, but plan to rather move it over to Dom3 and continue with it there.

Not that hard I'd wager. Rescost has been reworked I think. Now items get rescost and units have generaly a smaller one. I don't think it was this way in Dom 2.

Its like making a new mod. There are a lot of things you need to redo.

Thanks for the replies.
Can I use the same sprites for units?

Yep same sprites seem to be working just fine.
As for the dm file, it depends on what you modded, a few fixes are needed (e.g resource costs), but you also have to implement a few new sections (e.g. now you have to specify the type of forts)

I have made so many mistakes in my old mods it feels like I'm doing new mods instead of fixing the old ones.
There are a few new commands for the nation section, some of the old monster and weapon numbers has been changed, armor names has been changed.
