Microsoft has released the new Internet Explorer 7. I'm very happy with Firefox which I'm using, so I'm wondering if there's any advantage in getting IE7.
What do you think? Have you tried IE7?

7 times the bugs, exploits, pop ups, crashes, malicious scripts, and spyware. Go IE7! Ya, I'll be downloading that soon.

Necessity at work. As is Netscape and Mozilla. You see, we get all kinds calling in having troubles.....
Used version 7 starting today. Suffering from a bout of interface poisoning......

Well I used IE7 in beta 1 and and it had a lot of problems. I now have the final release installed and it works a lot better. I don't really see any advantage to start using IE7 over IE6 though, at least not yet.

I'm giving it a try myself, but not too sure about it. The control bars are missing some of the buttons I liked, and I can't rearrange them to take up less room. Not very impressed so far.
The one positive point is I'm not having the script slowdowns I'm having in Firefox.

IE7, swing and a miss. FireFox still rules.

I would say to install this, even if you are using an alternative browser
Reason for this is, alot of windows features are using IE's engine, including explorer (you know, that thing you browse your files with)
One of the negatives that came from the browser wars http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

I tried pre-release and it couldn't handle the simplist web-sites. I had to uninstall it because it couldn't handle the ones I made for our company. I reported the issues, and hopefully the final version is better. I have to give it a try I loved that they FINALLY went with a tabbed interface. Geeze I made a browser myself that had tabs before IE5.5 came out.

Tabbed browsing is nice, but FF still does it better. Plus, there are hundreds of extensions to customize FF, while IE7 has about ten, when I checked, and they are mostly useless.
