Does anyone know if there's a way to show on the system view the last known owner of a planet if it's out of sensor range?
It's a little annoying to spot an colony, only to forget where it is or which planets were colonized once your scout ship moves on.

That actually lead to huge AI and pathfinding problem. When out of sensor range, the computer has no idea what was there when he was in sensor range; even if it's the same turn. There should be some sort of 'What was the situation in that hex last time it was in sensor range' feature.

I like the idea - hexes would still be gray but the "last owner" might be visible. I wish SE IV would do the same http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yeah that's exactly what I was expecting. If only so I can keep track of who owns what system without having to have scout ships spread over the galaxy.
Hopefully we'll see something like that in the future.
