Is it possible to do a save game during tactical combat? I find it extremely annoying if you need to rush off somewhere and can't save because you are in the middle of tactical combat (I have been late for work once too many times!).

I just leave my machine running, and employ the old "don't press next turn" pause effect.

During my story game, I've left tactical combat running for 20 hours once, while I slept and worked http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Just a note,

If you share your computer with wife or kids, do your self a favour and lock it up (not physically, although that maybe a good idea). 5 year old kids are not the greatest admirals.

I'm not sure, but sometimes I think I would do better if I let my two-year-old plan my offensives. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

I just use the lesser of two machines, so nobody else bothers to try and play on it http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif
