What is the opinion on archiving or not when sending turns via e-mail? I my self have never archived my files and have had no problems. This could be an answer to the problem in my last post.

If you mean sending the game, combat, log, etc files, it's always a good idea to archive (zip) these when sending, just to save space/bandwidth. If you mean holding onto the turns for a while, I usually let the savegame archives for previous turns accumulate, then occaisionally delete all but the last 5 or so turns. The only reason I keep them that far back is to double check things from previous turns, like trends in enemy movement. It's easier to just load previous save to check things than keep copious notes.
