I have added the ability for the game owners to change the game version on their games themselves. This new feature can be found on the game admin screen. This should be fairly straightforward, but if you have any questions, let us know.

I love you geo http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Been wanting this for a long time. Now if only you'll let us install new versions of our mods on PBW.

I would like nothing better. I have a plan for how to implement that, but it's going some moderate to hefty code changes. Will be some time before I can make it happen.

Woot!! And I thought having all the game files available was as good as it could get!

Yeehah!
Thanks.

Yes, those two things, the files and being able to change the version, should eliminate the large majority of the admin requests. Not that we mind people asking for help, but letting you do it yourself means you can get it taken care of faster and frees me up to work on more code tweaks. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Yay for Geo! Maybe PBW2 is not necessary after all! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Well, it didn't seem like it was going to happen, so I figured I should get off my arse and start making some updates. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

/me notes that soon may be a good time to ask for donations to PBW since it has se5 support and your putting even more work into it, a pledge drive to cover some costs would likely prove popular right now

I appreciate the thought. I've actually seen donations pick up some since we added SE5 support. Probably getting some new players with the new version.
