OT- Brent Spiner in BSG

I was just going through wikipedia and I came across the article on Brent Spiner. It says he will guest star in BSG for 2 to 3 episodes. Makes me wonder what he could play. It must be either a Cylon or a human. Unless that is aliens start popping up.

So, as a Human what might he be. Maybe he created the Cylons.

As A Cylon, well he'd have to be one of the missing 5 models. Maybe he is the Cylon god.

Nice news, but I am somewhat fearful he will be stuck in a role just because he was Data or Soong, Cylon model (probably more like Lore) or creator of the Cylons. If the later one he might end up in Caprica.

It is rumored that he will be playing the imperious leader or such character like that. I will wait to see the show as I have found that most rumors relating to BSG come true.

Besides playing a mechanical man shouldn't be that hard for him. Now playing a human scientist bent on creating a super human hybrid or a cranky scientist trying to stop an alien signal invasion of Earth are also right down his ally.

The brent spiner role has been going since the show started in the fan forums, I wouldn't put any faith into it. If anything, I forsee him playing one of the Greystones in Caprica, not BSG as a cylon.

On the upside, RDM let it slip in a trade magizine that a major cast member will be killed of in the last third of the season.
