By my estimation, PBW has been down for about 3 days now. Any ETA on when it's coming back up?

PBW has been up almost the whole time, but you need to access it through it's IP address: http://69.81.92.82/

Turns aren't running? Our game was due to run 3/13 and still hasn't.

Auto-turns have been disabled since some users might not have seen the messages about the lack of access through the pbw.cc URL.
The game host can run the turn if all the player's turns have been uploaded.

And on top the delay in the new IP propagating through the DNS servers, PBW itself is having problems sending out e-mail. If you normally have your turns e-mailed to you, you may need to check the site occasionally and download them manually when the turn processes.

You can always plug the IP address into your hosts file, and then not worry.

Have you considered using a service as www.no-ip.com (http://www.no-ip.com), until the URL thingy is solved? it would be much easier to remember something like http://pbw.no-ip.info, than the IP address http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Or... you can just add it to your hosts file (windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). Why bother with an external service when the solution is a notepad.exe away?

If you're using vim, you don't have a Windows host file, do you? I thought vim was a Linux app.

They defiled win32 by making a vim port for it.

Linux has a hosts file. Vim is a Unix app, but there is a windows version too.

I tried vim...I have no desire to learn a programming language for the sole purpose of a search-replace function.
