Hi Guys. Has anyone come across this problem? I’m hosting a simultaneous game with three other players. More then once while I attempted to process the turn, the blue bar would get so far and stop. The red and green bars do not appear. I have found out that when this happens if I don’t save a certain players plr the game will process. If his plr is saved then the processing will stop. The blue bar always stops at the same place.

Perhaps he sent a PLR file for the wrong turn?

It happened to me twice on a PBW game I was running. I've no idea what causes it and it's supposedly "fixed" in 1.33

He has sent old plr files before, but the game still will process. He gets a turn of grief trying to change what the AI does those turns. We are playing ver 1.25. Group has not agreed to go to 1.33 as yet, maybe this is a good reason to patch. Thanks Imperator Fyron and GuyOfDoom for responding.

Hi guys. Has anyone heard of a fire wall disrupting a simultaneous game? Running out of reasons for one of the players causing game not to process. Wander if the fire wall could be the problem.

If it is a PBEM game, then it is not possible for a firewall to have any effect on playing the game. No outgoing connections are made by the exe when you play a PBEM turn, or when you process one.

If it is a TCP/IP game, then yes, you need to forward ports.

It is a PBEM game. It is only the one player that disrupts the processing. If his plr is left out game will process. His position in the game is #4 there is an AI in #3 and a surrendered human player was in #5. I’m #6 It has been mention among us this might be a cause of problem. We are all pulling our hair out trying to find the source of this. We get a couple turns to process properly then it stalls.

double check you are all using the same version of SEV.
if you are using a mod, have the player re-install the mod (del the mod folder, download, and reinstall it)

and yes, I would definatly be using the latest version of SEV.
it's kind of a duh thing, there's so many fixes in it.

We are all patched to 1.33 The processing problem happened in 1.25 as well. We are not playing a mod. The affected player has done a fresh installation. We just had two turns with the problem not showing it’s self. Then the last turn it was back.

...Send the turn to Malfador? Sounds like it might be a game bug.

Do I send all files pertaining to this game or just the game file?

Hi Guys. Not heard anything from Malfador yet, being patient. The last turn that would not process was tested five times. 1 no actions and game processed. 2 Tech, production and some military moves game processed. 3 Same as 2 but all military moves and game would not process. Then two other turns with other actions without military moves. Has anyone heard of in game actions that would cause game not to process? And the mystery goes on.
