Just saw the banner for the Play By Web site. Very cool, and very cool to see it on the forums too!

EDIT: It kinda reminds me of the intro from Space Empires II. Man, that was classic. Too bad it plays so fast on modern systems.

For those of us who didnt have the pleasure of playing SE2, how did the intro play out?

I believe it went something like.

Invasion fleet comes to an unconquered planet and this conversation happens.

I.F.: Surrender or perish.
P.(This is you): I think not.
(EDIT): This was too fast to read word for word but I think this is the basic jist of it.

Your planet sends out a better fleet of ships with shields. They fire stuff at you, but is deflected by your shields. You fire your weapons and destroy all ships. Then the game starts, you with one planet and bent on conquering all the galaxy.
