I like the set adjusting for the humans moving the chess board.

Impressive, if it was real. I can accept it starts out real but notice he is in a dark room so the projection shows up. Later the rooms are well lit and the exhibitions more defined. The meeting one reminds me of Minority Report. Leads me to think for the time being the second half is CG, but it looks promising.

I wondered what was with the devices in a bowl till I realised you put them in and it reads their memory before displaying the contents on the bowl where you can move stuff from device to device.

This thing looks like an interesting idea who's time is not about to come any time soon. M$ has tried to tell us keyboard, screen and mouse were obsolete in favor of IR remote controls and touchscreens, and demonstrated that they are novelties with some uses but that M$ has serious hype-erbole issues.

I'm holding out for being able to turn off the lights in a large room and do 3D holographic space combat using the entire room. Now THAT would be cool.

That would be really cool. It will be so addictive that I'd never want to leave the room.

I've been watching a series that hypothesises what a city would be like in 50 years. The latest episode talked about holograms, but the best they have at the moment is reflecting images off fog. It occurred to me they need to create a lightsource that can reflect off air molecules, or here's a thought send subsonic vibrations through air to change it just enough to take the light source.

It's really a shame that you can't have computers work with holograms...
