Play by Web supports Patch 6 (1.41) and Mods

To everyone who has been considering using Play by Web but hasn't because of no 1.35 support:

1.41 is fully supported

Mods are fully supported (but must be handled by administrators by request the first time any particular mod is used)

So, come on down and experience the joy that is Play by Web.

TO play PBW, do I have to reset the changes I make to the settings.txt?

What I do is keep a standard verision of the game set in a folder called PBM. That way I can play with what ever changes the host request. Then I create a folder called pbmgame and load the required files there.

Ya, I think I agree with you. Its great that Malfador is working in conjunction now with Play By Web. I have signed up with it, but haven't tried playing it yet. I plan to though once I get my Star Trek Mod done and have some spare time.
