View Full Version : Few weapons i'd like to see in SE4

There is a weapon idea that i had even since SE3.

Not realy weapon, but mine warhead.
When i myself was MODding for SE3, i created shield distrupting mines. Nasty things.
But what i realy wanted to create was decloaking mine.

I mean - a cloaked ship/fleet coming thru WP.
Then Ka-bum! mines explode, and the fleet, though undamaged, loses its cloaking devices.

Yes, i know, regular mines are more effective, but such kind of mines would be nice too. For example, such mine could be unsweepable.


Another weapon i would like to see (as either weapon or warhead) is ressuply-destroying weapon.

A weapon say....hmm.. 60kt. Rate is 10.
Range...something small.
One fire, and if it hits, the ship loses all of its supplies.

Or a warhead. Ship warps, BOOM, and supplies are at ZERO. Easy prey for ship capture.
That weapon also should destroy Quantum Reactors.

Just two ideas i had for a while, and thought i'd post it.

One thing I'd like to see is a "self-destruct device destroying weapon"

seems a shame that the self destruct is always triggered... imo it would be better if there was a 50% chance of it going off, giving the bording teams a chance to disable the device before it explodes.
