I have seen seveal comments in the threads about the MEE, or "going" mee.
It seems this is a game score threshhold, which when a player goes above, resets the AI players to "hate" the MEE empire?
Is this correct?
tow questions, then. First, what is the score needed to trigger MEE status in a "stock" game of se4, and
Second, do all empires that cross the mee treshold become mee as far as the AI is concerned, or only the First player-empire to do so?
Thanks

Thanks

To be MEE, you have to be in first place and have 170% of the second place score (250% for an AI). You also have to have over 500K points. You can change the numbers in settings.txt

any plauer can turn ME, even the AI, but i'm not sure if the treshold for ME is the same as with a human player

Q: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8th?
A: Yes.
Q: And what were you doing at that time?

Thank you, appreciate it. This means that if two players are very close in scores, even if much higher than the other empires in a stock game - MEE won't be triggered? Thanks

Right. The first player MUST have a much larger score than the second player (e.g. 1.7x), *and* exceed the threshold (500k; consider increasing in a very large quadrant) for MEE to kick in.
In addition, if at any time the conditions stop being fulfilled -- perhaps the first player's score dropped, or somebody else's rose -- MEE stops. It's not permanent... it's even theoretically possible for more than one player to be MEE in the same game, although that's quite a reversal of fortune.
