The readme that came with the 1.22 patch made brief references to a couple new PAGE commands.

They are REMA, REMI, and REMS. Has anyone here tested or utilized any of these commands? Does anyone know the protocols to use them?

I gather that REMI removes an item that's installed on a ship.
Does it remove every instance of the item from every ship in the flotilla, or just the first one it finds?
Can I specify a particular ship it removes it from?

REMS removes a ship from a flotilla. For REMS, is the protocol to remove a ship (a Zorg fighter, for example) ...
REMS zorg 0
or
REMS zorg fighter
or
REMS sotapanna
?

Anyone know what REMA does? Is it short for Remove-Ally, or Remove-All, or something I'm not thinking of?

These should be listed in the !quest_files.txt in the quests folder...

REMA removes an item anywhere in your possession (cargo or installed)
REMS uses the hull name to identify the ship (e.g. zor_ftr for Sotapanna)

Only one item (or ship) is removed at a time. These commands are basically intended for removal of unique quest items.

Didn't cross my mind to look and see if the !files had changed post-patch. I'll go re-examine everything asap.

So, I'm using the 1.22 mac patch (which, in case anyone cares, doesn't have the catastrophic issues with my computer that the beta of the patch had)...

...and I'm trying to make REMA get rid of an installed item, and it won't. Everything else in that quest is running fine.

Switching to REMI got rid of the item - that one letter being different made it work. One one hand, it's not a big deal since REMV and REMI used in conjunction will get rid of anything, with the minor side-effect of getting rid of two copies if they exist and you have one in cargo and one installed.

But, on the other hand, it appears to be a bug in the 1.22 mac patch. I'm posting it here so that it will make it's way onto Fingers' and Ed's collective radar. I'll probably make a new thread for it, so they'll be more likely to find it, but I wanted it in this thread too so the data can be found by anyone looking for info on REMA/REMI etc.
