What is the difference between neutral empires and regular ones? Iknow in space empires II, neutral empires never expand outside their solar system, so they were just obstacles to be defeated, or walls to hide behind.
Currently I play with both create neutral and random computer players option&#

Nuetral empires will not expand outside their home system just as in Se4.

Regular AI empires will expand outside their system.

I don't mind nuetral empires as they are soemthing to find and conquer at the beginning as you expand without having to mess with another player empire, unless he is guaranteeing their independence (sorry, little Hearts of Iron concept). I can't be bothered with regular AI empires in PBW though. If I wanted to play against an AI I'd play solo.

Edit: what happened to wordwrap?

Alright, so it's just like space empires II then. Do they deal with you diplomatically? Or do they just attack you if you are in their system?

They'll behave exactly like a regular AI in all respects, except they won't leave their home system.

It isn't so much that they *won't* leave, but they *can't* warp.

If they recieve assets in other systems (a SY) through trade or random events, they could potentially take over that other system.
