View Full Version : Does Non agression effect mines?

I just agreed to a NA treaty with a neighbour. The next turn he moved through a wormhole and the mines blew him up. Do I have to also make minecodes available? The actual report claimed he was a race that recently surrendered. I think it got confused because why would I blow up someone with a NA treaty. If that is the case why did the mines go off?

In SEV you will have to give him your minecodes (and vice versa). Without the minecodes, the mines will blow anyone up, regardless of treaty.

Weird... it's my ship that blew up, and I'm far from being extinct.

Oh, and happy birthday!

The combat report I got said it was the Evanti, and we both know the Evanti surrendered to the Jodan several turns ago and the empire is dead. Looking at the combat though showed it was you.

How did you manage to get a ship so deep in Evanti territory? I didn't see you slip it through. I guess I should watch the movement replays more closely!! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

What I mean is that I received two reports. The first says "Our minefiled has been encountered by the Evanite", then the actual combat report was his ship. The Evanite/Evanti had nothing to do with it. It's probably similar to awhile back when I ended up with a combat report between 2 empires I had nothing to do with.
