Hi all
I was wondering if anybody out there still plays Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun. I tried to load and play it, but apparently it does not like Win XP, which is what I have.
Any ideas? The Westwood website was not helpful. I scrounged around there for 10 minutes and got nowhere.

24 views and this is your only reply.
You in a heap o trouble boy.
Jokes aside, I thought you could tell WinXP to run something pretending to be Win95. (Or was that Win2K?) Right click on the link and choose properties, and scrounge around.
Also, update all your video and audio drivers.

Yah, right-click the shortcut on your desktop, go to properties and click the Compatibility tab. Use the 'Run with Windows 95 compatibility' option.

Heh... it would be funny if WINE could run something that standard Windows cannot.

There is an edition that was released with the First Decade compilation of Command and Conquer games which, if I'm not mistaken, runs fine under Windows XP.
Other than that, I can't really offer any solid advice, as I don't still have a surviving copy of the original game to try and work through a solution for you. Sorry.
