ok, what can AI cloaked ships do... In other words, will the AI uncloak to accomplish tasks.
In particular:
1) Attack (I know this sounds dumb, but I want to check all my bases)
2) Colonize
3) Ship-Building
4) Stellar Manipulation (open/close warp points)
5) Minesweep (From my review of the threads this seems like a no)
Thanks in advance http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Hmmm... don't know the questions myself, but also would like to know. Would really help in my creation of a Star Fleet Battles Mod ConVersion. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

I don't believe that you can attack whiled cloaked. However, if you have cloaked ships together with uncloaked ships all ships will be used in a battle. A sindle colony ship could be in a group with a half dozen cloaked battleships and the attacker would be in for quite a surprise.

ok... I know what I can't do... but what can't the AI do? I mean, will the AI UNCLOAK to Attack/Colonize/Ship-construction/Open wp's/minesweep if it is controling a ship that can cloak?

I know for sure that you cannot Colonize or minesweep with a cloaked ship. I am pretty sure that when you attack, you reveal the fleet and it "uncloaks".
