I am getting this error when I select Starship Tactical Center I in AST mod 2.1. I have checked the image files and they are both present, the 128x128 image and the corrosponding 36x36 image are both present and correctly numbered.

I checked the data files and could not see an error.

This is the old incorrect .bmp file header error. Resave the .bmp file with another image program like Ifranview or if using Photoshop, select OS2 rather than windows.

I use IrfanView to convert the pics graphics to standard BMP's and it works fine for me when i did that,

so anyone, if ya have a problem try IrfanView to solve the graphic's not compatable with your computer

I make a New Folder and use it to put the new converted pics into it then copy it to the proper folder in se4

EXAMPLE : go to the Components Folder and open a pic (by clicking twice on it) then goto File (batch conversion) and add all (files of type: common graphic files)

output directory: (this is where the new files go) the NEW FOLDER that you made (I have mine on the desktop)

work as: use Batch Conversion (the #1 not #3)

Batch Conversion settings: output format: (pick BMP-windows bitmap)

click Start

when it's done goto your New folder and select all and copy (or move) them to the Components Folder (and yes you want to overwrite the old files:) )

make sure that the new folder is empty before you do the next folder(like i did one time) OOPS
