The manual says this just lowers unrest and boosts PD, which strikes me as not a lot for the heavy costs and requirements. So, anyone have any experience with this global?

Gives your PD some phantasmal warriors and helps against unrest.

Is that it, though? I mean, what can you do with such a spell? Are phantasmal warriors that great in a fight? Usually, unrest isn't a major problem in any territory. How quickly does it reduce unrest anyways?

There are quite a few globals that are virtually worthless. This is one of them.

The text of the spell says its boosts income. I think that is the case, at least i have noticed a rise in income after casting.

Hmm, would it be worth casting as a blood nation, to reduce the unrest, possibly allowing you to tax the province slightly?
