There is a bug that lets you add multiple SYs to a queue and get them built. Its fixed in 1.59.

Right, but didn't the last patch remove the "one per planet" hard code restrictions on shipyards? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Hopefully, the number of shipyards that can be queued is linked to the number of shipyards that can be built.

The hard coded limit was removed, but it wasn't intended to allow more than one to be built in stock.

Yes, and the new softcode facility count functions were added to keep the SY at one per planet. There is just a bug with adding multiple items to a queue as a single entry not checking those functions..
