I notice some of the maps in the downloads have a .map & .tga file, and others, just a .map file.
What is the .tga file, and why do some not have?
Thanks in advance.

.tga is a picture.
.map tells how provinces connect, and identifies special provinces.
if it only has a .map, you must already have the right picture... for example, if I want to use one of the pictures that comes with the game, but change around which provicnes are forests, or have magic sites, I only need a .map
