Actually, you should. Your trolls and thugs performed admirably, easily beating up easily most of my forces. However, morale broke on your side... this time my pretender had enough HP to prevent any fleeing.

Following your edit : I agree. I don't understand either why you didn't bring the hundred bandits that fled the previous battle back in Pangaea. Those would have crushed me. Now that your main thugs are dead and this army scattered, I can start organising myself again and move back on the offensive.

Well the forces that fled were actually in that fight (besides those few that accidently sneaked back... duh!)
Well, it's time to get over the shock and rebuild a reasonable army to fend off those poor naked ladies. And those damn Bandar things with the four arms and bandar fou himself. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/Injured.gif

There goes the splendor of the former mighty Shinuyama. Fear the apes of Patala for they will rule this world. Is there no man or beast that will help Shinuyama against the mind enslavers?

...what can I say, I took offense at Shinuyama's comment about the apes ruling the world =).
(I had already notified Bandar about withdrawing from our NAP, it's just a funny coincidence.)

The world of shinuyama is in their borders, they don't know yet that there is a bigger world out there.

Woops! There comes Ulm! Go Ulm!
And there is Atlantis attacking me? What the heck! It's a conspiracy!

The Ulmish assault on Bandar log is unfortunate. The counlil of the deep condemns these acts of terror against our peaceful bandar friends.
Atlantis hereby declares its neutrality towards the Ulmic empire. The non aggression pact will be cancelled in 3 months time.
This is not a declaration of war, but Ulm should be wise to rethink itīs aggressive foreign policies to preserve our diplomatic relations.

The Atlantis declaration of war is regretted, but not unexpected. I figured I would end up at war with both Bandar and Atlantis soon enough anyway. I don't border any atlantis land territory, and although there are plenty of tricks to attack them underwater, I didn't want to run the risk of casting Thetis's blessing, sending a huge army underwater, and having it get dispelled. Good diplomacy has been important to my success so far, but I realized that as the game came down to only a handful of powers it would be harder to maintain.
I also toyed with the idea of proposing a three-way win--myself, Bandar, and Atlantis--but what's the fun in that? =)
Now that the Great Northern War is all but done, the Atlantis-Agartha war is over, are we entering into the Last War of Primea?

I love it how people think I'm insignificant.
Hum, I actually am insignificant.

Atlantis has grown tired of the neverending war between Shinuyama, Bandar and Pangea. As our diplomatic efforts to calm the southeastern region were met with ignorance and egocentricity from all sides we see ourselves forced to remove the cause of said conflict: The Shinuyama. You may argue the moral of this decicion, but hardly itīs logic.
When Ulm chooses to interpret our declaration of neutrality as hostility, for such is the unsofisticated nature of humans, we can only bow our heads in sadness. Enter the deeps if you will, and our queens will pray for the Ulmic widows. But know this Makita: you may still choose otherwise.
Pangeas insignificance can be debated. Lady Lover(or as I suppose it was intended: Ladylover) has proven a hard nut to crack for the Shinuyama apes, I doubt we have seen the last of brave dryads and ecstatic women.

Hehe, you sure go out with a bang! Well done Cupido2!
This makes things a lot more interesting.
Seems like the last great war of Primea will be fought by crippled old veterans, going after each other with their crutches. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Hey! I forgot to tell you the previous turn but the 1000th victim of Bandard fou won a great medal ( which will be sent to his family in Ulm )! Even better, Bandard fou decided to bring it by himself to the family http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif

Pangaea choose his side :
Against Ulm. However, we will respect the three month agreement we had.

Just as well, battling someone without scads of super-high astral mages will be refreshing. I'm sort-of regretting not crushing Bandar Log when they didn't have multiple SCs and master enslave communions. All that Marignon territory I grabbed after the decisive battles at Solian has just made me the most obvious target.

I'm going to be out of town for the next week or so (until the 9th) and won't be able to play; given the server situation, I realize this may not matter. If we do manage to resolve the situation, I'm totally fine letting ich (or someone) play temporary sub for a few turns until I get back.

The server is back up. Since it's about one month and a half after it went down, I'll ask very cautiously if people want to continue playing this game or if you have already moved on?
In case there aren't too many people who have abandoned this game by now, I'll restart it over the weekend.
