Got a foot of snow dumped on my house last night. The snow hanging down from the roof is trying to touch the snow rising up from the drifts. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
I know, I know, lot's of people have it worse. But we don't get snow like this very often. We aren't used to it. I don't own a snow blower. I don't even have a very good shovel.
The worst part is after busting my butt shoveling my driveway tomorrow, it's going to melt by Wednesday. Tuesday will be in the 40's and Wednesday in the 50's.
Wahhhhh. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yeah, there's this annoying thing called 'spring' comming. No more winter.

Up here, it is hip deep in the yard, and twice that at the side of roads & driveways.
This is the weather that separates the true Canadians from the people who merely live here.

The really annoying thing about this is that it's so close to Spring! This is literally the worst storm of the winter, and it's right at the tail end. Meanwhile, we spent this past winter yoyoing from deep freeze to Spring-like thaws in the 40s and 50s. Weird...

wait, are you all canadians? cause in Quebec we're gonna hit some kind of high score this weekend if it goes on like this. Our snow blower cannot throw snow high enough to pile it out of the way. I nearly killed myself getting back home an hour ago...

It snowed all day today...but no accumulation (as always).
And of course it's just cold enough to wilt the daffodils and the cherry blossoms, I guess I won't be getting any peaches or plums this year either http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rant.gif
This is the fourth year in a row that it's warm in Jan/Feb and all the flowers start to come out, then all of a sudden it snows...

I'd love to see -40C in California. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

I got the opportunity to make quite a few zero point turns while driving people around, so today was good. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Amusingly enough, we got rain and a high of 12C, while Ont and Que got dumped on. Rather odd but still amusing since it's usually the other way around.

No, -40C is -40F. It's the temperature where the two scales match.

Oops, I flipped the fraction... C=(9/5)*F+32, I did C=(5/9)*F+32.
Most of 'em would die from -40 too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

You apparently flipped the direction too. The correct formula is F = (9/5)*C + 32.
